As stated by Peter, IAM offers the means to manage and secure the identities and data within your organisation but challenged the audience as to how all identities can be managed at all times.
As stressed by Peter, scalable IAM must be secure, and easy to use, but requires empowering and educating users to manage their own resources.
In his presentation, Peter went on to address the balance between ease of use and security, as well as the communication around IAM implementations, which is key to a successful IAM strategy.
