The Postillion is made up of two parts – the Convention Centre where the event is held and the hotel which is under construction (due for completion at the end of September). Therefore please keep in mind there may be temporary looking signage used onsite.

FURTHERMORE THE VENUE NOW HAS SCAFFOLDING AROUND IT BUT HAS TEMPORARY SIGNS AND AN ARROW POINTING TO THE ENTRANCE/RECEPTION – YOU CAN ALSO ACCESS THE VENUE FROM THE REAR DOORS.

An entirely new destination in a historic location: Postillion Convention Centre Amsterdam is situated in the former Gumball Factory in Amsterdam. Postillion is the newest, state of the art convention centre in the Netherlands. An eye-catching location with the most innovative technological facilities, complete with and flexible workspaces. Ideally located, close to motorways and with ample parking.

Postillion Convention Centre Amsterdam is very conveniently located, between the city and the arterial roads.

How to get to the hotel

Navigation address: Abram Dudok van Heelstraat Amsterdam, The Netherlands

The nearest train stations are Amsterdam Amstel Station and Duivendrecht Station; the Overamstel underground station is within walking distance. The premises and immediate vicinity offer ample parking.

Car: From the A10 (all directions), take exit S-111 Amstel Business Park Industrial Estate. At the traffic lights at the end of the exit, turn left onto Johannes Blookerweg. At the next traffic lights, turn slightly left onto the extended Marwijk Kooystraat. Pass under the railway and turn right at the traffic lights, again passing under the railway. The Kauwgomballenfabriek (Gumball Factory) is immediately to your left.

Public Transport: It is a 3-minute walk (230 meters) to Postillion Hotel Amsterdam from Overamstel underground station. Take the 50 or 51 underground from Central Station, Amsterdam RAI Station, Amsterdam Amstel Station, Duivendrecht Station or Amsterdam Zuid Station and get off at Overamstel.

Parking: On approach you will see that the hotel part is still being built but the Convention Centre area is in full working use although some temporary signage will be in place. There is ample parking on site at Postillion Hotel Amsterdam and its immediate surroundings – this is detailed on the map below PLEASE NOTE the carpark with a closed barrier in front of the conference center entrance is NOT accessible to attendees at the conference. Please see areas on map and note that parking charges apply for all parking spaces (credit cards taken).

Accommodation: Accommodation and travel ARE NOT included in the conference ticket. The Postillion Hotel is still a working progress at this time and will not be finished before the conference takes place. However, the Postillion Convention Centre have recommended some local Hotels should you require accommodation for the conference.
