Sebastian Manhart
Advisor on Digital Identity, Technical Consultant, Identification for Development (ID4D), The World Bank

Sebastian is a serial tech entrepreneur and digitisation expert, supporting governments and start-ups around the world with large-scale implementations of technology.

He is currently working as Technical Consultant for the World Bank´s Identity for Development Group (ID4D). Previously, he worked as an Advisor on Digital Identity for the German Chancellery and as Chief Operating Officer of the world´s only non-profit biometrics company (Simprints), where he raised over $15m and oversaw programmes reaching over 1,000,000 people across 12 countries.

Sebastian has an academic background in development economics with a BA from the University College London, an MPhil from Cambridge University, and an ExecEd from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

Amol Sawarkar
Enterprise Architecture - Global IT Planning and Project Management

Amol started his career in the IT technical support area. He is a university degree holder in Computer Engineering supported by strategic certifications like ITIL, IS Audit, Project Management and Enterprise Architecture.

Over the span of more than 25 years of experience, he has carried out different roles and responsibilities including but not limited to Systems Deployment, Region Support Manager, IT Ops coordinator, project manager for global projects and Enterprise Architecture.

Having spent his initial eight years working in India, Amol has been working at the Head Office of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies for the past 17 years.

As a part of the Global IT Planning team, his main responsibility is around the Enterprise Architecture function working with the IT Business Partners, Project Managers and the IT operations team.

Fabrizio Di Carlo
Head of Product and Infrastructure Security, Scoutbee

Fabrizio is currently the Head of Product and Infrastructure Security for Scoutbee, prior that he spent 6+ years in the Financial Services Industry where he designed and secured systems for some of the world’s leading financial organizations.

Fabrizio holds several industry certifications and an M.Sc. in Forensics Computing and Digital Investigation from University College Dublin with a thesis on Zero Trust Architecture for IoT devices.

Aarti Samani leads the Product and Marketing functions at iProov. She has over twenty years’ experience in delivering innovative technology to the financial services and government sectors. Her work has ranged from managing technology transitions in capital markets to spearheading the product development and launch of text input solutions, revolutionizing the way consumers in emerging markets interact with their smartphones. Aarti holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Durham.

Vivin Sathyan is a senior technology evangelist at ManageEngine, a division of Zoho Corp. He presents POCs, and takes care of implementation as well as product training in the domains of ADSolutions and IT security. He is also a regular speaker on the latest trends and best practices in Windows infrastructure management, in international seminars and user conferences conducted by ManageEngine.

Dr Gilad Rosner
Founder, IoT Privacy Forum

Dr Gilad Rosner is a privacy and information policy researcher and the founder of the non-profit Internet of Things Privacy Forum, a crossroads for industry, regulators, academics, government and privacy advocates to discuss the privacy challenges of the IoT. The Forum’s mission is to produce guidance, analysis and best practices to help industry and government to reduce privacy risk and innovate responsibly in the domain of connected devices.

Gilad’s broader work focuses on the IoT, identity management, US & EU privacy and data protection regimes, and online trust. His research has been used by the UK House of Commons Science and Technology Committee report on the Responsible Use of Data and he is a featured expert on O’Reilly and the BBC. Gilad is an internationally invited speaker and has given talks at industry conferences, universities, and government agencies, including the US National Institute of Standards and Technology. Gilad has a 20-year career in IT, having worked with identity management technology, digital media, automation and telecommunications.

Gilad is a member of the UK Cabinet Office Privacy and Consumer Advisory Group, which provides independent analysis and guidance on Government digital initiatives and is a member of the IEEE Global Initiative for Ethical Considerations in Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems. He is a Visiting Researcher at the Horizon Digital Economy Research Institute, an Affiliate Researcher at UC Berkeley’s Centre for Long-Term Cybersecurity and has consulted on trust issues for the UK government’s identity assurance programme, Verify.gov.

Andre Priebe is Chief Technology Officer of the iC Consult Group, a vendor-independent system integrator specialized in Identity & Access Management with more than 500 employees around the globe. With over 15 years of experience in managing IAM projects focussing on workforce, customer, and device identities in large-scale enterprises, Andre is responsible for the service portfolio and vendor strategy of iC Consult.

In this role, Andre is keen on new approaches, trends, and technology in the IAM market to figure out how much business value they generate for iC Consults’ clients.

Godwin Amila is a Senior Lead Solution Engineer at WSO2. Godwin is interested in identity and access management, API management, enterprise integration, cloud computing, Kubernetes, and microservices. He has over ten years of technical experience across the entire software development lifecycle and has helped implement enterprise-grade CIAM and API management solutions for customers across the world.   As a developer, Godwin has contributed to implementing multiple features of WSO2 Identity Server. He has consistently implemented a strong belief in DevOps culture and best practices. Godwin is a Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), and a Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).

The graduated Civil Engineer Markus Mehnert started his career in the IT industry almost 20 years ago. During this time he worked in the Global Account Segment, had responsibility for the Swiss Mid-Market customer, led an Inside Sales Team and a team in charge for MSP.

He knows the industry, and the Swiss market in particular, very well.

At Delinea he started the operation in the Swiss market and is now part of a 4 people team with Sales responsibility for the Swiss German territory.

Prior living in Switzerland, Markus worked in Germany and The Netherlands as part of international and multicultural teams.

David Doret is a cybersecurity expert with a passion for sharing good and bad experiences with the InfoSec community.

He has twice held the CISO position, served as Corporate Risk Committee board member for financial institutions and spent several years leading a consulting practice for all sizes of clients in diverse industries.

Today, he works as an IAM manager for a global bank.

• In addition, he is leading the ISTQB working group security testing, has written a book about this security certificate and is just right now enhancing this topic within ISTQB

Louise Cole
Head of Customer Experience & Facilitation, International Air Transport Association (IATA)

Louise Cole is the Head of Customer Experience and Facilitation for the International Air Transport Association (IATA). In this role, Louise has responsibility for the IATA Passenger Facilitation Program which focuses primarily on the crucial areas of security, border protection, immigration and customs with the aim to provide an “end-to-end passenger experience that is secure, seamless and efficient”.

Previously, Louise was the Travel Pass Implementation Manager responsible for the rollout and implementation of the IATA Travel Pass. Louise joined IATA in 2019 as Manager of Identity Solutions where she had the responsibility for the development of standards and recommended practices in robust, integrated identity management across the end-to-end passenger process (IATA One ID).

Prior to this, Louise was in leadership positions in the New Zealand Public Service for 20 years and as such was the New Zealand representative on the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) New Technology Working Group (NTWG) and lead the NTWG Subgroup developing the technical specifications and international policy for the Digital Travel Credential. Louise was also the coordinator for the TAG/TRIP NTWG RFI for 2016.
