Use of Open Data Proves Effective for TfL

Recent research has pointed to an annual £130m boost to the UK’s economy as a direct result of Transport for London’s (TfL) use of open data.

Not only has this practice helped save customers millions per year by allowing them access to real-time information to help them better plan journeys and save time, it has also supported innovation amongst app developers and provided hundreds of jobs in the process.
