TechUK’s manifesto for growth and jobs for the next 5 years was released today, with the statement that 95% of transactions with government will be carried out online by 2020. Notably, it mentioned that digital ministers will also be appointed in every department and the appointment of a new chief privacy officer and digital trade tsar at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO).
