GDS: 100 experts join to lead transformation

Recruitment has taken place in a number of technical and leadership roles within the government departments involved in the Government Digital Transformation (GDS). Around 100 experts have joined the initiative, ranging from CDO (chief digital officers), CTO (chief technology officers) through to technical architects and developers, all driving forward to improve government services.

This recruitment is ongoing and looks to increase specialist capability in the civil service. 1 of 4 priority areas in the Civil Service Capabilities Plan, is raising tech and digital skills levels across the entire government, this plan was updated in April.

Join us at Central Government Business & Technology 2014 where Liam Maxwell, CTO for HM Government will be speaking about this initiative and how the government plans to improve their digital services. Contact us for information on how to attend as a delegate (FREE to civil service employees).
