Replacing sign-on with smartphone swipes

One company believes it may have the answer in the post-password era. PingID from Ping Identity aims to use the smartphone of an enterprise user as a tool for entry to the company network.

The phone can become a secondary or even a single factor authentication tool, via a one-time token transmitted to the device, the user can then swipe as if unlocking it.

Ping Identity will be exhibiting amongst many others at Identity Management 2014, Hotel Russell, London. The event will take place on 12th November. Contact us about sponsorship opportunities, speaking opportunities or about joining us as a delegate for the day.

Below Hans Zandbelt of Ping Identity speaks about their vision at our November 2013 conference.
