The Efficiency and Reform Group (ERG) whose job it is to reduce Cabinet Office spend has achieved significant savings for the taxpayer over the past year. Amyas Morse, Head of The National Audit Office said, “The ERG has undoubtedly achieved significant savings for the tax payer, as well as generally injecting pace and priority in to the efficiency agenda.”
