Sukh Randhawa
Global Privacy Transformation & ED&I Lead, Unilever

Sukhdeep Randhawa has over 15 years of international work experience and is a lifelong student. Sukh has a passion for leadership, people and self-development. She is a qualified Accountant, Management Consultant, Transformation Professional, qualified NLP Practitioner, Coach, ED&I ambassador, strategic advisor and Mental Health First aider; and has recently completed a Building Organisational Cultures accreditation from Harvard business school and is currently training to become a mindfulness coach.

Sukhdeep has also been shortlisted as a finalist for 2 awards in 2021: Global Role Model of the Year by Women in GRC and Consumer Goods Businesswoman of the year by The Great British Businesswoman Awards.

She has held senior positions across industries including management consulting, financial services and fast-moving consumer goods. Her transformation experience spans all business functions and has also partaken in 2 international Post-merger integrations. She has a track record of unlocking value by changing behaviour and improving performance for both organisations and individuals on their transformation journey and understands the importance people development brings to operating a successful business.

Sukhdeep has been an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion ambassador her whole life and believes in order to truly change we must embrace diverse thinking. She provides a safe space to have courageous catalyst conversations whilst at the same time providing guidance to organisations on their ED&I journeys and facilitates ED&I and unconscious bias training.

Over the past 20+ years Jay has worked with Fortune 500 companies globally helping them unlock the potential of data and use it to understand and drive their key business metrics.  Specifically for the last 5 years with Precisely and Infogix he has enabled customers with their data governance and quality programmes and in using data analytics to connect to specific business outcomes.   Before that he spent 15 years with financial services, telecom, utility and retail customers helping them deploy SaaS products, enabling businesses to design, execute and measure proactive customer contact campaigns for a variety of marketing, customer care, and collection and payment processes.

Rahma Javed
Director of Engineering, Deliveroo

Rahma Javed is the Director of Engineering for the Restaurants group at Deliveroo, building the tech needed to make Deliveroo the restaurant partner of choice.

She is a champion of diversity in the workplace and encouraging women into STEM careers. She speaks at schools and conferences, and mentor’s young talent from underprivileged backgrounds.

Rahma is an active member of tech communities globally and advises companies on using technology to advance their mission. She sits on the board of Charity Right UK – whose aim is to provide meals to school children from underprivileged households. She also sits on the board of FactMata – whose aim is to eliminate biased, hateful, and misleading content on the internet.

She was the winner in the Technology & Digital category at the Asian Women of Achievement Awards 2020; she also won the Digital Masters Award by the Up Group in the Technology category; was included in the Women of the Future Programme 2020, and was shortlisted for the WeAreTheCity Rising Star award 2020.

Sadiqah has over 10 years of experience in Data and Analytics.

She started her career analysing seismic data for the oil and gas industry as an Interpretation Geophysicist.

With the desire to expand her knowledge and expertise, Sadiqah moved into customer and behavioural analysis.

She is currently working as a senior analyst for the Guardian News and Media where she is an advocate for increased representation of ethnic diversity within Data.

Lead Analyst at The Guardian | Co-Founder of Black in Data

Devina’s career in Data began by accident over 10 years ago. After unsuccessfully trying to launch a career in finance after graduating from university, she decided to try something new, Data.

After gaining experience in a variety of industries, she settled at The Guardian News and Media in 2017.

She has become a specialist in the area of data that drives customer loyalty and retention, supporting marketing teams through advanced analytics, testing and strategy development.

Senior Solutions Architect, HVR

Zulfikar leads the EMEA Sales Engineering team at HVR and serves as a strategic partner for prospects and customers embarking on their real-time data integration journey. Zulfikar possesses over 20 years of data integration experience. Prior to HVR, Zulfikar worked in similar roles at Pentaho and Oracle. He holds a degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Westminster.

Her responsibility in BT includes hiring and leading a world-class data engineering team – Be part of the Consumer and data strategy and proactively drive the vision for Data Engineering to define and execute on a plan to achieve that vision – Lead the overall architecture and design of BT data platforms and solutions ensuring that they self-reinforce – this includes ensuring we build the right elements and leverage the best available technology from our vendors and group IT in the most effective way while driving a brilliant and consistent customer experience

Initially thinking she would be a math teacher, she ended up pivoting into data when she saw a job posting for a career with the Navy. Realizing the power that data held, she decided to make a career in data and has since spent time on all ends of the data spectrum – from engineering to analysis.

Prior to his work in the tech industry, he obtained a BSc in Economics from the University of Kent.

Mike has 20+ years of experience in the data storage industry and is very proud to continue to represent Pure Storage, as he has for the past eight years.  Before joining Pure, he worked with various data storage and data protection products in a variety of vendor and channel partner roles.  Mike’s strengths and particular areas of interest include aligning the technical conversation with business outcomes and extracting value from data.  He also holds a First Class MBA at Warwick University.

Irene Iriarte Carretero
Senior Data Scientist, Gousto

Irene is a Senior Data Scientist at UK recipe kit company Gousto.

She has been at the company for almost 5 years and has focused on using Data Science to help offer customers meaningful choices.

This has involved building products such as a recommendation engine and a menu optimisation algorithm.

Prior to joining Gousto, she completed her PhD in Computational Chemistry at Imperial College London.

She is also currently doing an MSc at UCL exploring the uses of Data Science in the Cultural Heritage field.

Lauren Walker
Chief Data Officer, 2021 DataIQ Top 100

Lauren’s career covers nearly 20 years in consumer data strategy, from building consumer identity as part of data monetisation efforts to bringing the technologies and processes required to deliver data-driven marketing and brand experience.

As a Chief Data & Digital Officer at Dentsu and through a variety of roles at IBM and an Equifax spin-off, her unique data-driven marketing expertise spans the value chain from advertising strategy, audience, media activation, digital marketing, AdTech, MarTech and CRM.

As a COO of Digital Transformation, she brought together the people, processes and technologies required to set the foundation for a new sales and growth organisation at Dentsu international.

Currently, as a Managing Director at Accenture Interactive, she is focal for the Consumer Goods Industry as well as leading the Customer Data Orchestration practice, helping clients with their first-party data strategies, data monetisation and MAD Tech (Martech + Adtech) convergence technical strategies.

Johanna Hutchinson
Director of Data and Data Science, Joint Biosecurity Centre, Test and Trace, Department for Health and Social Care

Dr Johanna Hutchinson is the Joint Biosecurity Centre’s (JBC) – a part of Test & Trace – Director of Data & Data Science and DataIQ’s third most influential person in Data (DataIQ’s 100 The Most Influential People in DATA 2021).

Johanna moved to DHSC in April 2020 and joined the JBC to build the growing data capability and promote transparency. Prior to this, Johanna had been headhunted by the Pensions Regulator to embed data into new business operations against pension reforms.

Johanna’s previous leadership at HMRC has seen HMRC’s first Data Strategy and Data Team come to fruition, after having worked at the Office of National Statistics in 2012, where Johanna began her career in the Civil Service.

She is a keen advocate of the increased use of data and analysis in public services and has always been a key player in promoting diversity in the workforce.

Polina is a Sr. Data Scientist in the Advanced Analytics team of TNT Digital International, with experience in data engineering, analytics and data science in corporate international environments, previously at Shell International and Exact.

As OKR Program Lead at TNT Digital, she is also currently leading the Digital International organisation in the adoption of the OKR methodology with the ultimate goal to have measurable and visible business impact throughout the organisation.

Being a certified Scrum Master, certified Product Owner and certified SAFe Agilist, Polina also loves working in an agile and pragmatic way, educating others and helping the business embrace agile transformation.
