As LexisNexis Risk Solutions CTO of ThreatMetrix, Matthias Baumhof leads all technical strategies, execution and program management for ThreatMetrix Engineering and Operations with a strong focus on security and scalability. Matthias Baumhof joined ThreatMetrix with the acquisition of TrustDefender in 2012, where he served as VP Product Development creating innovative anti-malware solutions. Previous positions include CTO of Microdasys, a pioneer in SSL inspection proxies.

Heather came to Merkle in 2017, and has previous experience within ebay, dunnhumby & Unilever. A big believer in the power of data to change organisations from the top down, Heather is also completing her doctorate at SDA Bocconi in Milan, looking at data as both an asset and a risk to businesses.

Otte currently leads the data governance and quality strategy at Degroof Petercam, a financial services organisation headquartered in Belgium. By utilising both technology and human resources, Jean- Paul Otte is implementing business-driven data management processes across the organisation, focusing on continuous improvement and the enrichment of a data centric knowledge base.

Siz heads up Merkle’s UK Business Intelligence (BI) offering and has been involved in various aspects of BI from Data Warehousing and Engineering, Data Visualisation and now Conversational Analytics / NLP. His professional passion has remained the same, leveraging technology as an enabler for business decision makers to capitalise on data, ultimately having a positive impact on organisational objectives. Isolating the technological complexities involved in harnessing, interpreting and presenting information from the end users’ experience is one of his key objectives. While Siz does manage a business function he finds real joy in working at the coalface of inception projects and regularly helps clients start their BI journey with Merkle.

He’s now leading the data efforts at Atlantic Records, focusing on the artist and working with the A&Rs to find future talents.

Prior to working in data science, Joe led the BI team in the UK coming from a background in analytics and mathematics.

He holds a degree in Business Administration from ESPM in São Paulo, a BA extension from Dorset College in Dublin, and MBA from Babson College in Boston.

At Reckitt, Elvys was responsible for Insights & Analytics Function in Brazil and Health in LATAM.

Christina Finlay is Director, Data & Analytics at Nest Corporation, which was set up in 2011 by the UK government to address the needs of companies who became legally required to auto-enrol employees in a pension scheme. Nest holds pensions for over 9 million members.

She leads enterprise data and analytics for the organisation, guiding it towards four strategic aims: holistically understand our business so we can continually improve decision-making, continually improve our ability to build customer value and engagement, ensure we manage risk and adhere to regulatory requirements, and get the most value from what we have through building and empowering a collaborative, agile research and analyst community.

Christina was previously Director of Data & Insight at the National Trust and Director of Insight and Planning at Hovis. Christina has worked in UK, Singapore, Canada and France, mainly focused on FMCG brands with companies like General Mills, Nature’s Path and FutureBrand.

Often implemented in hybrid cloud environments. Tijs is specialised in bridging the gap between engineering and the business. Tijs is focused on data and analytics for over 6 years. Prior to that, Tijs was involved in the early days of DevOps transforming applications teams to more agile and business aligned operating models.

Founder, IoT Privacy Forum; Expert in Public Policy of IoT & Identity Management; Privacy and Technology Policy Researcher

Dr Gilad Rosner is a privacy and information policy researcher and the founder of the non-profit Internet of Things Privacy Forum, a crossroads for industry, regulators, academics, government and privacy advocates to discuss the privacy challenges of the IoT. The Forum’s mission is to produce guidance, analysis and best practices to help industry and government to reduce privacy risk and innovate responsibly in the domain of connected devices.

Gilad’s broader work focuses on the IoT, identity management, US & EU privacy and data protection regimes, and online trust. His research has been used by the UK House of Commons Science and Technology Committee report on the Responsible Use of Data and he is a featured expert on O’Reilly and the BBC. Gilad is an internationally invited speaker and has given talks at industry conferences, universities, and government agencies, including the US National Institute of Standards and Technology. Gilad has a 20-year career in IT, having worked with identity management technology, digital media, automation and telecommunications.

Gilad is a member of the UK Cabinet Office Privacy and Consumer Advisory Group, which provides independent analysis and guidance on Government digital initiatives and is a member of the IEEE Global Initiative for Ethical Considerations in Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems. He is a Visiting Researcher at the Horizon Digital Economy Research Institute, an Affiliate Researcher at UC Berkeley’s Centre for Long-Term Cybersecurity and has consulted on trust issues for the UK government’s identity assurance programme, Verify.gov.
