Whitehall Media’s 4th Annual Enterprise Cloud Computing and Virtualisation Conference and Exhibition at the Hotel Russell, London, on 7 March, 2013, was rightly judged to be a resounding success.
Enterprise Cloud Computing and Virtualization, 2013, managed to attract a record number of sponsors, delegates and exhibitors and helped organizations address the issues involved in the growing exposure to the Cloud whilst equipping the delegates with the know-how to deploy Secure Cloud Infrastructures in their own workplace. The conference, as promised, delivered yet another high quality, topical and content-focused programme about the deployment of Enterprise-Wide Cloud and Virtualization Infrastructures across enterprise-level companies across the UK. Here’s more of what you had to say about this year’s event.
Darren Williams, Technical Director, EMEA & APAC, Whiptail
“We’ve met some great contacts here [at ECCV, 2013]. We can see the value of meeting with the delegates. They want to be able to understand how we can help them, and that’s been invaluable for us. We’ll definitely be back next year.”
Matthew Finnie, Chief Technical Officer & Executive Vice President, Interoute Online
“The reason we chose this event to exhibit at is that it got us closer to the type of customers we think are on the cusp of making the right decisions. The day has been really good, the sessions really well attended, and the questions more nuanced as we’ve moved on over the past year as the Cloud environment has evolved.” “The organisation of the conference has been really good. It’s worked well for us and there’s been good footfall between sessions during the breaks. All in all you’d have to say it’s been far more interactive than most of the other conferences of this type.”
“We wanted to attend to get a flavour of where the market’s going, to do a bit of networking, and to understand more about what we need to do to tailor our own products for the market. This sort of conference environment has been perfect and we’ve had some really good constructive conversations. We’ve got some very good leads, and we’ll definitely be back next year with an even stronger message.” “It’s been a great event. We’ve had some really good engaging conversations, got some really good leads and have had the opportunity to be involved in some really fantastic projects as the result of these conversations. The event proved to be a really good fit for our business.” “Our primary reason for attending ECCV was the quality of the speakers and the delegates. The number of senior people present and the organisations they represent are typical of our customer-base. The way the conference was organised and set up was excellent, and the feedback I’ll give to my organisation is that the experience was definitely worthwhile.”
“This year we’ve attended a number of events, much larger in terms of size and the number of delegates, but in terms of accuracy and the strength of the leads we’ve got, this ECCV Conference has been really positive, and we’ll definitely consider it again next year.” “Excellent conference: great speakers and intriguing content. I can see that [ECCV] is going to be an important event for years to come.”
